"Memories, like the corners of my mind"..
.Barbara Streisand
There's nothing like good memories, do you agree? This piece is especially for the ladies.

"Until Morning Comes"
The last time I saw him
he lay comfortably within my arms.
The heat from each breath he took
ignited my soul and each pant
became a part of my existence.
I can still feel the wetness of his lips
as they took form to
the curve of my breast.
Each kiss fell softly, tenderly,
and unhurriedly.
Now unable to sleep, I sit
by the window with my questioning eyes
peering towards the stars.
I am consumed with the memories
of our last sunset.
The essence of jasmine filled the air
while bodies of candle light
danced against the windows.
It was at that moment that I felt comfort.
I still hear the sounds of the
raindrops as they fell lightly
upon the roof top.
They seemed to dance to the rhythm
of our beating hearts producing
an exquisite song of passion.
Then he turned, and with his
rest seemingly undisturbed,
he pulled me into his slumber.
it was at that moment
that I felt love.
Yes, the last time I saw him
his body lay wrapped in the moonlight
I will be continually haunted
by the memory of him
until morning comes.

Joyce Oscar is originally from Memphis , Tennessee she now resides in Atlanta Georgia. She loves all forms of music from Country to Jazz. Her repertoire includes poetry, fiction, essays and songs. Her outlook on life translates into her writing. She states, " I believe that poetry is the measured language of emotion. It bears witness to our lives and what we have experienced. It is a celebration of language in its most illustrious, enchanting, and intense form. Poetry has an inimitable power to re-create the human experiences like falling in love, losing love, facing death and disease, losing faith and courage, and finding God. Poems transform the everyday into a creative journey through our imaginations."

I loved it. Even though this was geared toward women I thought it was pleasant reading for males also. It was very descriptive, sensual, arousing and yet tasteful. This took my mind back to a special time in my life. This is good easy reading for whomever reads this. Keep up the good writing.

This poems leaves you reminicing about your man. very descriptive and leaves you feeling like you want to hear more yet just enough sexual tones that you start to image yourself in the poem. Keep up the good work

I thought this piece was very good! Your use of figurative images was excellent. One could almost see the picture in his/her mind. Excellent!

I thought the piece was very good. Your descriptive writing leaves the reader with a well-painted picture to put them "in" the piece...not just as a reader, but as a participant. Great job!
